GENKI began his DJ career in 2005, co-founding the RB and D&B-centric party “feel up” with friends. Organizing and hosting numerous successful parties, he quickly made a name for himself. Since 2015, he has been a fixture in the Kansai region’s nightlife, holding residencies at renowned clubs like CLUB PICCADILLY and headlining at prominent events such as MRAGE, NEWORDER, and CLS.
Having been selected to support world-class DJs like Jameshype, Markknight, and Ericprydz during their Japan tours, GENKI doesn’t just handle event planning and casting but also proves himself on the ground, showcasing his skills in real-time. Continuously striving for new challenges, he launched “Afterseven,” a house music-focused party, in 2021 with the aim of creating Japan’s premier house music content. GENKI embodies the essence of a DJ in constant evolution, always pushing boundaries and embracing the present reality of the scene.
