NAO NOMURA embarked on his career as a jazz DJ in the mid-90s. Today, he predominantly plays techno, tech house, and deep house music. In addition to his role as a DJ, he is known as an organizer, successfully hosting numerous parties by inviting top DJs from around the world.
In 2010, NAO launched the party “seven,” which garnered attention for its exceptional quality and attendance, even on weekdays. In August 2011, he produced the compilation album “seven” for the same party, further solidifying its reputation.
In April 2013, along with SUGIURUMN and OSAKAMAN, NAO established the record label “BASS WORKS RECORDINGS,” dedicated to showcasing serious dance music, particularly techno and tech house.
Until its closure in 2019, NAO served as the sole resident DJ at ALZAR OSAKA, a venue highly regarded in the local scene. Since 2019, he has been a resident DJ at SPECTACULAR, a techno party at JOULE, where he has shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as CHRISTIAN SMITH, NASTIA, and MAYA JANE COLES.
